The entire belt drive, except for the air conditioning compressor, is being converted to the modern, high-performance 10-pk belt.
Advantage: only one belt, better power transmission, no more retensioning, and smoother running.
Air conditioning and EGR are no longer required.
The ATI Superdamper is being used instead of the standard vibration damper to transmit the forces in the belt drive. The damper is repairable.
